Ask Brooke / July 2000 A lot of people have been sending in questions asking about 'favorites' so July's Q&A's takes on the theme :-) What is your favorite animal? My favorite animals are dogs. But I also love affectionate cats.
There's no show that I watch regularly, though I enjoy 20/20, Entertainment Tonight, That 70's Show, Friends, Ally McBeal, The Practice, and Judging Amy.
As for my favorites in music, I don't limit my taste to any particular style. I like a wide variety of artists including Madonna, Sarah McLachlan, Jewel, Macy Gray, and Enrique Iglesias. My favorite songs on the radio right now are "Thank you" by McMaster and James and "Can't Stop" by Jacksoul.
My all-time favorite morph in 'Animorphs' would have to remain the lion. That animal embodies all that is 'Rachel' - daring, brave, and a force to reckon with!
My favorite actresses are Julia Roberts, Gwenyth Paltrow, Natalie Portman, and Reese Witherspoon. As for actors, I like Tom Hanks, John Travolta, Matt Damon, and Heath Ledger (love that Aussie accent!!)
When I'm not acting or studying I like to hang out with my buds. I enjoy watching movies, playing the piano, reading, rollerblading and skiing. I also like fitting in quality time with my family - sometimes it just gets so busy!!
I think I've watched "Pretty Woman" at least six times now, so that movie is pretty high on my 'favorite list.' Other favorites include "Life is Beautiful" which I found absolutely mesmerizing, "The Green Mile," "Gladiator," "Ten Things I Hate About You," and "Freeway." I also consider "Grease" and "Dirty Dancing" all-time favorites!
I recently enjoyed reading "Anna Karenina" by Leo Tolstoy. I've just started "War and Peace" by the same author - we'll see if it's as good! I also just finished a book entitled "Mukiwa" by Peter Godwin which I thought was quite interesting. © Brooke-Nevin.com |
