Chris was not able to make the "Our Hero" chat, but according to the show's producer, Karen Lee,
Chris is currently in LA filming a pilot!
OUR HERO AIRING IN THE US/INTERNATIONALLY

"Our Hero" will be making it's US debut on WAM! Chris is featured in the second season of the series
so it may be a while until they get to his episodes. The following is a snippet from the Press Release:
WAM! America's Kidz Network (WAM!) announced today that it has acquired the comedy series
"Our Hero," from Decode Entertainment the creators of the U.S. tween hit, "Angela Anaconda." Dubbed "the
teen version of 'Ally McBeal,'" the half hour comedy series will premiere on WAM! at 9 p.m. ET/PT on
Monday, January 7, 2002. The show will air every Monday at that time with additional playdates
throughout the week.
Meanwhile "Our Hero" is currently airing on France2, CBC, and Tele-Quebec in Canada, Trouble and
Channel 5 in the UK and ABC Australia.

Although "In a Heartbeat" is over, Chris is still working:
Our Hero: Chris is a regular on the CBC series "Our Hero" playing Malachi, the lead
character's new boyfriend. You can visit the show's website at:

The Zack Files: Chris will be filming an episode of the Fox Family (now ABC Family) series
"The Zack Files". He'll be playing Romeo (yes, like in Romeo and Juliet) in a modern day setting.
Also, it looks like he's going to be participating in a cool project in the future, but no details on
it yet. Thanks to Rich for all the info. Also a huge thanks to Fran for the initial heads up on "Our
Hero"!

THE SKULLS II: DIRECT TO VIDEO

direct-to-video. Although no details were given, this suggests... that the sequel will be with
a new cast. (5/2/01) Yes, it's definitely direct-to-video, with filming being done now in Toronto.
CHRIS IN THE SKULLS II

Chris is working on a feature film entitled "The Skulls II" (the sequel to The Skulls which starred
Joshua Jackson and Leslie Bibb). Chris stars opposite Robin Dunne as a student who gets involved in some
horrific initiation rituals.
NO SECOND SEASON FOR IN A HEARTBEART

According to Family Channel Viewer Services, no one is getting a second season of "In a Heartbeat".
Here is their response to a query about a second season:
Only one season (21 episodes) of In A Heartbeat were produced. The producers (Alliance
Atlantis in association with Disney) do not intend to make any more episodes, which is too bad, since
its a good show. Family will air all 21 episodes in rotation.

Not happy with the news? I'm not sure how everything officially stands at the time, but you can try
writing to Disney Channel to let them know you want the show to stay:

Traditionally snail mail is the way to go. Also some tips, if using the email form, please DO NOT
flood them with nasty emails -- that's NOT the way to go. Which ever route you choose, DO be polite,
DO be coherent (no weird LeTtErInG, don't write in ALL CAPS, etc..), and DO let them know you want to
see more of the show.

Some bad news for US viewers. It looks like the Disney Channel has opted not to renew "In a
Heartbeat" for a second season. The distribution company behind the show is currently shopping around
for a new US market. Meanwhile it has been renewed in Canada. Thanks to John for the info.

Power to the Pathetic: Brooke throws away all of her stuffed animals and gets her
ears pierced behind her mother's back.
Race of a Lifetime: The squad discovers that Jamie is racing in a motocross
competition against his ex-girlfriend.
Star Struck: The squad is impressed when an action movie star pays a visit, but they
soon grow tired of his colossal ego.
Hero: Jamie's photo appears in the paper after he rescues a boy from a burning
building; Brooke finds a stray dog.
